Only shoes out of 4 pair that I ordered on amazon that helped with my over-pronation. I can no longer ignore the fact that I've inherited my bone structure and must wear shoes that correct ankles that turn inward. I searched for overpronation and motion control shoes and these popped up. According to the person who fitted my orthodics these shoes meet all the requirements; large toe box, stable motion control sole with actual support under the inside of foot (under arch or lack there of), a wider heel base and hard solid uppers surrounding the heel. The sole is even modeled with a wear pattern for people who overpronation; according to experts that's a good shoe. My insert fits comfortably inside and And they are cute. They've helped eliminate pain in ankles, knees, and back. I've ordered another pair because I liked them so much. Please keep making these shoes Saucony.I have worn Saucony high stability running shoes for years. They discontinued my favorite style in favor of the Redeemer. I tried it when it first came out and didn't like it at all - very little support. I recently saw they had revamped it, so I decided to try again. Ignoring the fact that the Saucony "swoosh" on the side looks super cheap, the first shoe fit so small that I didn't even try on the second shoe. I usually consider and walk around for some time prior to deciding on a shoe, but this took less that 10 seconds. No deliberation needed. I didn't even get the chance to evaluate any other aspects of fit, though this version of the Redeemer does seem to be much more supportive than when they first came out. Bad news is, I can no longer order Saucony shoes online knowing my size. If I want to try again, I will have to go to the local shoe store and try it on first to get the size right. Oh well. For years I used Asics, but after my disappointing last pair, I made the change to Saucony. This is my second pair, and so far, so good. I have flat and wide feet; therefore, it's hard for me to find sneakers that are comfortable to jog in. I waited to jog in these sneakers multiple times before posting a review. These sneakers are comfortable, and they support my feet. I wear a size six, and I always purchase a half size up. If you're a fellow flat footer, I highly recommend these.I was surprised to see this Redeemer was almost exactly like the Omni, and not like the other 2 Reedemers I have. I wore them to the gym for the first time today, they seemed to be OK once I got used to the correction in the sole. Time will tell if this is the correction I was looking for. The Stabil model fit the best, but I was told the Redeemer was its replacement.Shoes are comfy and attractive. Reviews said they run small in the toe box so I ordered a wide when I normally take normal. I am glad I did as the toe box is a bit small (not width wise, but vertical wise). It isn't irritating, but it is noticeable compared to my pair the generation before this one. It will improve as some of the cushioning starts to compress from normal daily wear. I do not regret the purchase, but the sizing reviews were indeed spot on. If you are a toe box nut or hard core runner you might not be happy with these. If you are a casual wearer you should be fine.I had read the differing opinions about whether the wide shoe would give enough room in the toe box, and I just thought to myself, SURELY if I get a Wide shoe, it will give me enough room in that area. Well, I am a bit disappointed, though I have decided to keep the shoes anyway because other than a slight squeeze in the toe box, the rest of the shoe is okay.Perfect for runners who overpronate. I used to be unable to run more than 5k as i used to get very bad knee pain. Went to a propper running shop and got Saucony Omni years ago. I used it for about 8 years, knee pain??? Resolved i can now run half marathons, no issue at all. When the Redeemer came along and i was ordering online i was worried about dome reviews stating size is different. So I contacted the Saucony help desk. They were great recommended to order exact same size as my previous pair. I did, they fit perfectly! Love them!I usually buy Saucony shoes because I have wide feet and they fit me well. Not true this time - this pair of shoes is very tight, almost to the point that I can't wear them.I feels slightly smaller than my previous pair in size five so having to get around this by wearing thin sports socks rather than my usual sport socksI wear 7.5 and ordered 8. size perfect. However, these are horrible for running if your feet are neutral (mine)or going toward the exterior. Right away I had pain in my ankles and knees. I tried them just to walk and it is the same. Not appropriate for neutral feet. The sole is also very rigid, making my feet sore. Unfortunately, I cannot return them since I wore them twice. I lost 114$....I have purchased Saucony shoes in the past and loved them. These are almost the exact ones but different colour. Shoe felt stiff and rigid not like the in store ones I had purchased. Because of Covid I didn’t have a choice but wouldn’t purchase shoes through this way again. Have to say price was good and delivery good and without issues.I’ve had this brad before...and the pair I received seem like “fakes” as the fit & quality isn’t what I’m used to from this brand.I measured my feet with socks on paper and it came out to 25cm and 24.5cm. In the saucony website size chart, they recommend a size 8 for those measurements. The shoes were too big all over.I ordered and received a size smaller(size 7US) and they fit perfectly.
