I have owned at least three dozen pairs of running and trail running shoes over the years, and I haven't owned a pair of Saucony's for at least 20 years. I needed a new pair of trail running shoes since I'd be spending 90%+ of the time on dirt and gravel. I typically get Merrell's, which have been fine, but I decided to switch it up.I really loved the looks of these shoes. They looked more like running shoes vs. trail running shoes. But the true test came when I put them on. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. It's like putting on my favorite pair of gloves, but for my feet.I love the larger toe box. I don't have wide feet, but the extra breathing room is nice - especially for the longer walks and hikes.I have two other pairs of trail running shoes, and I'm eager for them to wear out. Why?
