Comfortable shoes for long shifts on my feet. I still have to add an orthotic for my foot problem but thats all shoes. But Brooks are my go to for comfort and durability.I noticed another reviewer who was disappointed at the side rubber/sole of shoe was starting to deteriorate. I had that problem on the shoe I am replacing. It hasnt happened to my other pair. I feel I caused the problem by washing and then placing in the dryer. Ive washed the other pair but allow it to air dry or dry in the sun. Definitely dont place in dryer ir that may happen to the sole sides of the shoe. Just a tip!I love the Brooks Glycerin 19. It’s a great walking and running shoe. It is very comfortable, fits true to size and has a lot of cushioning. The stabilization works great if you are a pronator or supinator (don’t walk/run with your feet pointing straight forward). It’s the NEST running show I have ever used!! If you haven’t given it a try yet, I encourage you to do it. It changed the way I think about walking/running!I am a nurse and am in my feet all day . These are perfect and provide lots of support for my posterior tibial tendon issuesThese are very comfortable. This is my second pair of Brooks Glycerins. I had my first pair for over 7 years so it was time for an upgrade. I did have to go with a wide as these were a bit more narrow in the toe box then my last pair.About once or twice a year I order another pair of Brooks Glycerin GTS 19 shoes! Between the Adrenaline and Glycerin shoes, I almost never wear any other shoe! They would probably be good for running, but are also great for walking, mowing lawns, exercise classes, and just grocery shopping. The GTS 19 seem to fit better than other iterations of the same shoe -- I've been wearing Brooks for more than 20 years, they allow me to use my custom orthotics, and keep my back and hip from hurting! (I try to always get them on sale!!!)As a physical therapist, I stand on my feet and demonstrate exercises or assist patients about 10 hours per day in a gym with a concrete floor. I have chronic hip and knee pain and these shoes help alleviate my pain. I recommend these and several other types of Brooks to all of my patients.Shoe size runs small.Comfortable and supportive. I own several of this same exact shoe!Extra wide Glycerin GTS are very hard to find. I had to wait a little while for these to arrive but it was certainly worth it. These are my first extra wide trainers and I just wish I'd had them from the get-go as I would have happier feet. They are super, my best trainers ever. I am very happy with them.Really like Brooks shoes. The new Transend 6 upgrade not to my liking so much. The heel area is higher so rubs when running. When putting on the shoes occasionally the top of the shoe heel to the shoe and has to be pulled out. Got at a good price so glad did not pay full amount. Also have Adrenaline GTS 2, would recommend these out off the two also cheaperNot as per descriptionNot as good (for me) as the Adrenaline GTS. I have poor foot structure and need a stability shoe. The Glycerin feels spongy to walk on and allows a lot more foot movement that I don't need. Its hard to buy clothes and shoes online. I don't see any more padding in these than their other shoes but the sole is spongy without a sense of energy return. It feels a little like walking on sand.I, personally, would not run in them. I bought them for walking so that is fine. If I had a job where I was standing all day I would probably appreciate these shoes more. But, given the choice, I would go back to the Adrenaline.And what is with baiting people with a normal price and then tripling it when you select your size?
