New Balance Women's Vazee Coast Running Shoes - Lightweight & Breathable for Jogging, Gym Workouts & Outdoor Activities

I bought these because they were ridiculously cheap and I have a running shoe obsession. This is my first pair of New Balance shoes. Not impressed. I normally wear a 9 in running shoes, so that's what I bought. They are long enough and wide enough, but they feel tight across the tops of my feet. As for the soles, there's really not much to them (yet, they don't feel like a minimalist shoe; they're spongy but hard and I can't feel the ground - kind of weird). There is no way I could run in these - they just don't feel like real running shoes. I'm a long-time Asics fan (long ago, the Stratus, followed by many pairs of Cumulus and Nimbus), an occasional Saucony wearer (Kinvara, Triumph, Ride, Sinister, Jazz), and a dabbler in Newton (Distance), Mizuno (Wave Creation), and Brooks (Ghost, Glycerin). The Vazee Coast is not a running shoe. This will be my walk-the-dog/take-out-the-garbage shoe, not to be put into my half-marathon training shoe rotation. With running shoes, you usually get what you pay for, and I knew that going in, but I couldn't resist the deal. These are okay for casual wear, if you like the colors.I love these New Balance sneakers! My husband has a similar pair. We both love them. These sneakers run true to size. I wear a size 9 and the size 9 fits perfectly. I have a high instep so I really like the mesh material so I can tighten (or loosen) the laces and feel the difference. These are extremely light which makes them easy to run in and very comfortable. I also wear them when training at the gym. I think these are one of the best pairs of New Balance I have. I like these also because my feet swell and these stretch so I stay comfortable.I bought a size 8, thinking that there would be enough wiggle room for my toes, but there was absolutely NO ROOM. You HAVE to size up at least a half size to be comfortable with the fit or your toes will be jammed up. The black detailing strip on top of the mesh toe area acts like a band to prevent toes from poking out of the shoes. It was a bit uncomfortable having that strapped in feeling. I am going to return and reorder size 8.5 and see if the fit is better. Also, the insole is removable, but does not provide arch support.***Update: Got the size 8.5. Still jamming up my toes. I just have to accept that this line of shoes have a very narrow toe area and that the trim significantly restricts toe movement. I will have to return both the size 8 and size 8.5My 2nd day wearing them my toes were rubbing against the front of the shoe like they were too small. By the end if the day toes were hurting really bad. I purchased my true size an 8.5. However I do notice if I wear thicker socks I do not feel the toe rubbing. Other than the toe issue the shoes are pretty comfortable and are good for walking on your feet all day for my line of work.These were a replacement of the exact shoe, but that should speak for my satisfaction with it. Great, lightweight shoe I’ve used for 2 big trips. Great for running around airports, and hot climates. Mesh constructions breaths well, and they dry quickly.I had really high expectations for these shoes. Every review touched on how fast they are, and the mid-quality materials and craftsmanship. That was accurate. Maybe it's just me, but another prominent feature that stands out is an unusual sole. The sole at the heel feels very stiff and hard. I'm going to try to get used to it. I like NB a lot, I plan on wearing these shoes just for crosstraining, and they were very affordable.I got the wrong size, I just got back from Vacation and it is too late to return the item, but I am a New Balance fan. I am sure they are comfortable if they fit.i work on a concrete floor all day. the heel in this shoe is great but the rest is very disappointing. i feel like i totally wasted my money. I can feel everything i walk on and my feet hurt after two hours or less of work. i have to buy new shoes about every three months and to get one that i can't even wear after "breaking in" is infuriating. I expected more from this company especially with their pride in their price points. Expensive doesn't equal better. Not saying these were all that expensive but alot of their stuff is.Excellent seller, much lower price than seen in high street shops. Quick delivery. A very comfortable trainer with breathable mesh upper. Eran para mi mujer, que suele llevar un 39... Encargamos un 40 y le quedan perfectas.Ich liebe diese sneaker! In meiner Größe ist es immer ein Risiko online zu bestellen. Aber im Schuhgeschäft habe ich nichts passendes zu meinem Budget gefunden. Entweder 37 oder 38 .beides nicht so gut! 37.5 gibt es kaum! Diese Schuhe passen perfekt und sind sau bequem! Keine Blusen! Ich habe meine neue Lieblingsmarke gefunden!Preciosos y a un precio genial (al 50% de su ofreció original). Talla pequeño así que si dudas entre dos números coge el mayor, yo habitualmente llevo un 38 y el 39 de estas zapatillas me queda perfecto.
