I was so excited when I bought these shoes bc I love the look of the shoe on the screen, some glowing reviews for the Supernova, and the price. Unfortunately, i was disappointed. This shoe was too big in the heel even when I utilized a different lacing and just kind of an odd shoe in general. The soles are white and thick and have a texture that makes it look like it's made of Styrofoam, and on the soles it has the word Continental printed on it in a funny font. It turns out this is the logo of Continental Tires, which now makes some of the rubber soles of Adidas running shoes. The reviews I read, however, didn't say that the Continental soles performed any better than the regular Adidas soles. I'm glad I looked it up because I initially thought I had gotten knock offs - I wasn't expecting a random logo on the bottom of my shoe.!The difference between the Adidas Supernova shoe vs. the Supernova St shoe is that the ST’s are slightly thicker and the STs are supposed to bring more stability than the regular Supernovas. As someone with feet on the wider side whose feet are completely flat and an overpronator, I wanted to get a good pair of stability shoes. Overall, however, i just couldn't make these work for me. They're too heavy and awkward, and the heel slipping out (even though they fit otherwise and I had sized down have a size from my Asics and Altras) is just a dealbreaker.
