I haven't run in these yet, so I can't comment there. I've been wearing these for a week and just wanted to comment on fit. I normally wear Brooks Ariel and Addiction (size 9.5W) for running, and when I hit 500 miles I use them for walking. I decided to buy the Mizuno because they're lighter than the Brooks. I bought this in size 10W or 10D and I am glad that I did. I have slightly wide feet, the Brooks wide are a bit wide for me and the Brooks regular are a tad narrow, but I could manage. The Mizunos are narrow compared to the Brooks, though the toe box is roomy. I can wear these comfortably, but I would say if you have decidedly wide feet you should skip these. The same on the length. These are shorter than the Brooks. I don't think there is any way I would have fit into my normal size - anywhere from 9.0 - 9.5. I have walked in these for 3 miles at a time with no issues. These are great for the price I paid (less than $70), but all things being equal, I'd choose Brooks over these because my feet simply feel more stable in the Brooks.
