These are 1/2 size bigger than the first version (LD) and they seem a little lighter in weight.The gray is a little lighter than pictured.I have never been anything but a size US 6. I had to return these as they were huge. I really want a pair, so I may have to go try them on, as I am not sure now if I would be a 5 1/2 or 5. Returning the shoes was easy and seamless, thank you.Good but I don't like itApparently there are 2 versions of this shoe with the exact same name and ZERO difference in a ppearance, other than the color of the sole. This is NOT the Goretex version of the Norvan LD 2, as I thought it was. It is NOT waterproof. (On reinspection of this page, they don't claim it is - woops.) It is very comfortable, light, but NOT very breathable. Suffice to say, I wore these shoes for 12 hour nursing shifts and within a few weeks (no other difference in shoe wear/hygiene) got a raging case of athlete's foot.
