Product Description

Outrun your competition in the Reebok Run Supreme 2.0 shoe. A low-cut profile and forefoot flex grooves give you real mobility, while a lightweight outsole gives you superior cushioning. Plus, your foot stays secure with the midfoot strap lacing system. A graphic fade heel makes these shoes stand out in style. Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

You get what you pay for and Reebok is definitely not known as a top tier brand. In fact, Reebok hasn't made many good products in recent years that I can think of. I bought these because I tried them on in a store and thought they were the closest to what I was looking for without a premium price tag. Unfortunately, after just a short amount of time, the tongue has bunched up and now creates a painful pinch on the instep of my foot. When I take these off at the end of the day, the top of my foot looks red and bruised. At work I'll often kick these off at my desk because the tongue bunches up and digs into my foot. I go running with these once or twice a week. With such little wear, I've noticed my pinky toe is already forming a hole - the lining is gone and I can see my sock through the black mesh. It probably won't be long until I've worn a hole into these relatively new sneakers. And this week, I took my sneaker off and from the toe area, the insole peeled right out of the shoe. I'll continue to wear these until the hole is worn through only because I didn't want to buy a new pair of sneakers just yet. This is unfortunate because the first week or two, despite these shoes being wide and ugly, they were very comfortable.
