I own a pair of Mizuno Wave inspire 14 and I loved them. Recently, I developed plantar fasciitis and these were the only one that buffered my heel while walking. I also have several pairs of Brooks, but they aren't as good as the Mizuno Wave inspire 14.I ordered the Mizuno Wave inspire 18 to replace my old Mizunos 14. I anticipated a similar feel, however the new model hurt my heel as soon as I put them on. They aren't as deep in the heal area and they also feel very hard. The inspire 14 were more springy in the heel and somehow buffered the foot from the impact. That being said, the shoes look nice and well made. They will be good for those without plantar fasciitis. My regular size is 7, but I've been ordering 7.5 for Brooks and 8 for Mizuno brand.
