The material is too thin, not enough cushion. It fit snug in me, it's narrow. Smaller type insoles will fit. Without insoles, it doesn't provide enough support for me, I have neutral feet with plantar faciitis. This is pretty for going out but not for heavy running or working out. I ordered 6.5 white with the mixed color soles.I had been waiting for nice weather to try them on and they fit terribly. Too tight, no arch support and just don’t fit like my last pair of the same type and size. Of course I’m beyond the return date so now I’m out a ton of money for these pieces of waste.I’ve always been a big ASICS fan, but I know over the course of the last few years, they’ve been making them too narrow, etc. So I bought as a trial in hopes these would measure up since my current pair have seen their mileage maximum. I was pleased to see that these fit just right! At first lace up, it was a little snug over the top of my foot, but I knew they would need some breaking in anyway. I also realized wearing them immediately to the gym may be a bad idea, but went for it anyway. Wore them to the gym right out of the box and no blisters, aches or pains. These felt great by the end of the workout so the breaking in period was relatively nonexistent. I haven’t ran in them yet...they were used on the elliptical and during strength training. These don’t have a lot of bounce so if you are looking for a bouncy shoe, you might want to pick another version. These provide more of a stable support.I read reviews from others where the hot pink looked orange. I didn’t see that. These are definitely hot pink to me, but if you stare at them for too long, the color will play tricks on you because it’s so bright and vivid so I can understand why they might think that. But definitely pink.Overall, great shoe and I would recommend.Shoebacca is a great seller. Shipping was fast, packaging was fantastic, the shoe box didn't have so much as a crinkled corner. Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes, however the seller was fantastic; they sent a followup email to ask how the shoes were working out, and processed my refund very quickly. I normally wear a 6.5. In Asics I usually size up to a 7. There wasn't a 7 available in this shoe, so I took a shot and tried a 6.5 wide, since it's normally just a question of room in the toebox that makes me go to a 7. It just didn't work for me at all. My go-to is the GT2000 but since these were rated as even more support for overpronation I thought I would try them. The footbed was fantastic, and they have a deeper heel cup than the 2000 which I think would provide even more stability for the foot. However, in my case it aggrevated my plantar fasciitis. The pressure point at the front of my heel just hit me wrong, but that doesn't mean it would be any problem for anyone else. I think it's a fantastic shoe. Just sadly not for me.I ordered the mid grey/white shoes and just received them in the mail today (one day earlier than expected). I got them because they came up as a recommendation for supination correction. They seem like great shoes so far. I obviously haven't ran in them yet to know for sure though, so I'll update if anything changes. When I opened the box the sole is definitely a lot brighter of a pink than the photo. It's closer to a hot pink than the pale pink shown. There are also black specs on the sides of the white part of the sole which I thought was weird. But that doesn't bother me enough to return them. I intentionally bought the mid grey/white for the cheaper price and soley for the function of the shoe, and not at all for their looks (it's the ugliest color available, let's be honest). Just something to be aware of when ordering that there's a chance that the product might not look the same.I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I teach group fitness, from low to high impact, and these have been great! I’m very picky with my shoes. I’ve had lots of knee problems and plantar fasciitis so the right shoe is essential. I’ve been wearing ASICS for years but I do notice that the shoes often change with every update so I have to change models every now and then. These have been great so far, and more affordable than other ASICS I’ve had, so that’s even better. Also, these have been so good that I didn’t need tochange out the insole as I normally do, so for me they’re fine out of the box. I teach around 10 classes a week and replace my shoes about every 6 months or my knees start to bother me. I also like the simple style of the shoe. Many of the other ASICS models are a bit loud for me.I normally where orthopedic arch supports everyday because I am on my feet all day for work. I wear SAS shoes for work. After wearing these Asics sneakers without my arch support inserts I am wishing Asics made professional slip resistant shoes. These sneakers are amazing. My feet feel supported and cushioned. I have a narrow heel and collapsed arches that make my ankles turn in without support. I wear a size 10. So to say my feet need some loving care is an understatement. I wore them for a 10 hour nonstop day at Disneyland the other day and my feet were saved by these shoes. As for the color and overall look of the shoe, I purchased the gray and light pink and they are neutral enough to wear with most outfits. I like the fact that the Asics emblem is faint because of the weaving overlay and the overall shoe is sleek and not guady.I'm an avid reader of reviews but never leave any, so I am trying to change. I did a lot of research trying to find a shoe that is good for high arches. I finally found these and started out with version 2. Almost immediately, my knee problem (of which I obtained by no injury...just apparent old age and incorrect shoe for me) went away and hasn't returned. These shoes really are awesome for high arches, and I had Saucony before, which is NOT the brand for high arches. The Asics, version 2 and 3, are definitely a stiff shoe, which is why I rated it 4/5. However, it really is a great shoe for high arches (with no additional arch supports), so I highly recommend!I usually take a UK4 in other trainers but have to get a 4.5 with Asics. I have a few of these Asics GT range and enjoy them, however this particular GT-3000, 5 was a bit tight and uncomfortable around my lower big toe downwards, everything else was ok. I also have a size 5 which was a good width but a bit to long. The GT2000s 4.5 fits fine so I'll have to stick to those.Really comfortable! My old pair needed replacing especially having bought a pair in the past that clearly weren’t as well suited for someone with a need for the gel fit! These fit my feet well and help in realigning them. They are also a nice colour.I love these trainers they are a nice bright summer colour and comfortable.Bought these shoes for running. The sizes are a bit small.Bought 39 but use normally 38.Fits perfect.Good to wear them.
