I love how flat these shoes are, and also the simple look they have but the heel area is a problem. I have bought 3 different styles of vivobarefoot shoes and all seem to have the same problem, rubbing on the top of the heel area causing irritation, redness, and even bleeding if worn for too long. These running shoes are more tolerable because I wear socks with them and the heel part of the shoe is flexible enough where is just collapses preventing rubbing (see pictures for visuals). And the material of the shoe is not very soft, the only way these shoes are comfortable to wear is due to the mesh material they are mostly composed of. For the price I paid I wish they were better built.
