I really want to like this shoe more. I do actually use them a lot but it took nearly half a year to really break them in, and they’re still fairly difficult to slip into, as the opening is not very flexible. The shoe itself is tight enough where the laces don’t even really need to be there, and the toe box is fairly narrow which isn’t very good for running and hiking. My pinky toe often feels wedged by this one part of the design and frequently causes pain. I really REALLY like the idea of this shoe though and it’s still wearable for moderate hikes under 2 hours, I just wish they put more work and testing. It’s probably better for people with thinner, narrower feet. My feet are medium wide and the top part is kind of high.Not a lot of cushion and support but I wear orthotics so that’s fine. Fit is comfortableI still like the originals better, they were less restricting. These ones are similar in that the tread is impeccable while I trial run, and I love that my shoe laces don't come untied while I'm running. However the angle of the back of the shoe digs into my ankle a bit and sometimes I get blisters if my socks fall down. Overall I'm a Saucony for life kind of gal. I will be buying this line with the tread and boa as long as they make it. I run trails in the rocky mountains and ive never slipped in them, and they lasted a long time. Best running shoes I've ever had.Everyday useI was getting sick of tying laces on my Hokas. Got these for leisure and quick trips to grocery store. I realized they need insoles after a bit of walking, which is disappointing becoz for the price point I expected better. Will see how they hold up without insoles for two months, then maybe donate them.I love them! The are a little roomy across the top probably due to them not having traditional shoe laces...which is fine by me! I love the unique lacing knob design.From the minute I put them on they fit like a glove. Regarding getting your foot into the shoe, it is challenging but nothing a shoehorn cannot fix. Love the wide toe box. I don't run or hike just like to wear a good looking sneaker.I am happy with shoe.
