New Balance Women's 870 V4 Running Shoes - Lightweight Cushioned Sneakers for Jogging, Gym Workouts & Everyday Wear

I was able to buy these shoes from the internet without trying them on first because New Balance is famous for making shoes all fit equally unless otherwise noted. Some other shoe companies that make their shoes EN MASSE can cut their shoe blanks in different sizes, depending where in the stack the material is when it's cut in a stack. But thankfully, NB makes all shoes the same size in the size category. So I know that a women's 10M is the same in this shoe as the pair I just wore out a month ago. I know that I can get 6 pairs of these shoes and all will fit the same. I'm considering buying a couple more pairs to keep in the closet for when these are worn out.I wear these shoes as mostly walking shoes. They are very comfortable and supportive. I am a heel striker and everybody say I "walk like an elephant" due to the loudness of my footstep. These shoes give me sufficient cushion so I don't hurt my back. There's no soreness on my foot or legs after all day of walking/standing. They are lightweight and breathe well even though I have sweaty feet and I am out in 90 degree weather. I have nothing bad to say about these shoes except its limited color choices.I have two other pairs of this style, which I love-great running shoes. Both other pairs are size 8B. I ordered and received these size 8 shoes that seem to be about a half size larger, even though they have size 8 on the tag.This shoe is designed to improve balance. The local running store recommended for me after checking my feet. This is my second pair, and I'll be getting another pair soon. Many workouts and miles logged. On my first pair there was still a little shock left in the sole when the upper gave out (I am hard on shoes).I bought these to serve as a walking shoe on my rest days. It is a very comfortable, cushioned shoe. The architecture / design of the shoe and the interior arch make it unnecessary for me to use my orthopedic inserts -- which is delightful. RecommendLoved these running shoes! I have plantar;s faciitis and these worked well for me. Of course they're discontinued.This is my first pair of new balance shoes. And they feel great. The size was perfect and they are so comfortable.
