ASICS Fuzex Lyte 2 Women's Running Shoes - Lightweight & Breathable for Jogging, Gym Workouts & Daily Walking | Comfortable Athletic Sneakers for Women

I bought these shoes to prepare for my third half marathon. I’ve been wearing pairs of Asics for years now and if they continue to make shoes like these it’ll stay that way! I love these shoes for many reasons:1. They are made for runners with underpronation—where someone runs on the outsides of their feet. It is very important to find the correct types of shoes for your body to prevent orthopedic injuries. For me, that’s finding running shoes that support my high arches and have extra padding on the outer sides of the soles.2. THE COLOR. My biggest pet peeve with running shoes is the “neon fad”. It is incredibly difficult to find shoes that are neutral colors and still look cool. I was ecstatic when I found that the fuzeX Lyte 2s came in black and white.3. The price was low even though they were considered new arrivals. Usually, shoes can cost well over $100 and although they are worth it for the quality, these were only $85 new! My only criticism for these shoes is that they seemed to wear down quicker than other Asics I have purchased. This may be due to the fact I wear them outside of running, too. I largely decreased my mileage after my half marathon but still walk around campus all year long. As a runner and someone who works in the exercise field, I appreciate how cool these shoes look and how awesome they feel because I wear them all of the time! I definitely want to buy another (exact) pair of these in the near future. Asics promised a “versatile performance shoe” and that’s exactly what I got!
