I originally bought this shoe about 3 years ago. I lost one of the shoes…long story. My husband knew I was sad bc I love the fit, style and colors. He searched until he found them again and now I’m happier than ever. Still the best trail shoe!!This is my second pair. They’re a bit “rigid” but just what I need in more technical trails, with lots of rocks and hard surfaces. Just a great trail tennis shoe all around.These shoes are the BEST pair of shoes I have ever ever bought! They are the only shoes that actually fit my foot like a glove! Don’t hesitate about buying the shoes they are so comfortable they fit every inch of my foot to the “T” LOVE LOVE!!!!I started running outside because there isn’t much to do with COVID so I started getting mad when it rained or snowed because I knew my socks would get wet and it would be uncomfortable. These are a game changer- I only wear them for rain or snow running days but they keep my feet warm and dry. I had to get used to the lacing mechanism- but I tuck the excess part into the pocket in the tounge and it’s fine.I own a of hiking Salomons that I love. So I wanted to try out some of their trail running shoes for hiking and obviously trail running. I ordered the same size as my hiking shoes,size 7 in women's, but these fit a me a little tight and didn't feel wide enough, but I was hopeful they would wear out and become more comfortable. I hiked ten miles in them and they felt good on the hike with no blisters for being brand spankin' new. However, I ran about 15 miles in them (5 miles, three separate times), and they killed the balls of my feet to the point where I had to stop running. I ended up buying a pair of X-Mission 3s a half size bigger (7.5) and they fit awesome, and I had no problem pain wise when running, even did a half marathon in them! I think I'll keep them and keep experimenting. I do like them, just wish I would have bought them a half size bigger. Also, the shipping took a ridiculous amount time. These didn't even ship until 6 days after I ordered them, and finally received them 17 days after I purchased them.Fit as expected for salomon, could always use some extra arch support in their shoes, these are super light weight compared to the supercross and speedcross. Perfect for running or hiking on sandy terrain, did not cross any ice or mud to give that traction info. The shoes soles were dirty when they were delivered and missing tags, wanted to return since they'd obviously been worn but could not get the same shoe in exchange, so i settled. But seriously beware from this seller, why pay full price for used shoes, they could've at least wiped the dirty off the tred.Bought these to run on the trails and during wet conditions. Was expecting them to be more water resistant. If you run through a puddle, your sock will be wet.I read several reviews before buying this winter running shoe. None had mentioned how stiff it is and how little cushioning it provides. The fir is good and feet feel protected and warmer than in regular running shoes, but it’s so uncomfortable to run in that I will probably just use it as a walking/hi king shoe in bad weather conditions.Poor quality compound used for the sole. Very slippy on wet rock, so much so that I don't trust my footing. And since I've now worn them I can't return them. For £82 I expected better quality trail running shoes. Highly disappointed.
