I have always run in Asics shoes and will never run in any other brand shoe. I got my first pair of GT-2140 last year about a month before the Spokane Lilac Bloomsday Run and once I tried on the pair, I knew right away this shoe was what I wanted to buy. They are light on your feet and provide all the support that I need when I run whether on trails or the road. You hardly feel the shoe on your foot. I recently bought a new pair of the GT-2140 because my other pair had more than 500 miles on them and were losing the support; however, I had run in the shoes for about 6 months before I had to purchase a new pair. Depending upon how far and much you run throughout the week, they can last longer. For those runners, this shoe is not a disappointment. I love them.I have narrow feet and very rarely do I get a pair of shoes that the heel fits right. I wear a size 5 normally and ordered a half size bigger and they fit just right. So far they are comfortable and I love the black color. If you have big feet they may make your feet look bigger, for some reason these shoes just look big even though they are not.I have bought hundreds of athletic shoes over the years, mostly running shoes, all different brands and types. I have owned ASICS before, but these are the best. I have a narrow foot and have always had trouble finding athletic shoes that my feet didn't slide around in. I saw that ASICS is now offering a narrow width and, boy are these shoes worth it.My feet don't slide around anymore, these shoes fit like a glove and are so comfortable, plus they aren't constricting (unless you over-tighten the laces) Please don't stop making these shoes, I'll keep buying them if ASICS keeps making them!I am so happy with these Asics shoes!!! I have a hard to fit foot as well as heel pain. These shoes are wonderful. I order a narrow width, and a size longer than what I usually wear. The length runs a little short as do most running shoes. The shoes look nice and feel great! I am not a runner, but I do walk for exercise and use the gym for workouts. I have been wearing the Asics 2100 series for a few years and am completely satisfied!Look really cute, but hurt my feet really bad. I wear them, but pinch my heels if I wear them for too long.This is the new version of the Asics shoe that I had been wearing for the last couple years. These are even better. I was having horrible problem with foot pain...wake up in the morning and as soon as my feet hit the floor, it hurt. I went to our local Lady's Footlocker and had a knowledgable clerk who led me to these Asics. My foot pain has been gone since. THESE ARE GREAT!!!!I don't have personal experience with these shoes, but these were the shoes my daughter-in-law, a newly enthusiastic runner, requested for Christmas. They were to replace similar shoes that she had been using. She was very happy with them and we ran in a 5K race that started at midnight on New Year's Eve to celebrate the New Year and she came in first in her age group. I'm sure it was the shoes....Item arrived quickly, was packed well and was just as described. This was a no-hassle transaction and I will do business with them again.This is the best athletic shoe I have ever found. Excellent support and complete comfort. I would never think of working out in another kind of shoe.This is my third pair and I cannot recommend the brand any higher.
