New Balance Women's Boracay V3 Running Shoes - Lightweight Cushioned Sneakers for Jogging, Gym Workouts & Everyday Wear

A local running shoe store recommended the New Balance Boracay V2 (yes, V-TWO) to me several years ago and they were the most perfect running shoes I've ever had. I had always suffered shin splints from extensive running before that. I run with a supination foot strike and my feet are short but wide. After those V2 shoes wore out, I got the exact same pair again! Now those seem to be discontinued so I'm trying these. I got my exact same size 7 but they were significantly more narrow. So snug around the front (the widest part) of my foot. Length was fine. I exchanged for a 7 WIDE (referred to a C/D size). I held them up side by size with my old V2 shoes and their width is the same! Who knows why they made this model more narrow. It's a very comfortable running shoe for those with supination and/or wide feet - just be sure to consider the WIDE size!And can I just say I AM SO HAPPY I CAN GET THESE IN A NORMAL COLOR. Too many of the options out there are the most horrendous shades of pink and purple and orange! Looooooove the classic black/white look of these. Finally!!
