I have been a faithful Nike customer for 40 years but things have changed. I was looking for a new shoe company because of recent events at Nike and I just really haven't been overly pleased with their products. I have plantar fasciitis and just doing a search stumbled upon the Altra Olympus 2.0. It looked like a so I took a chance and ordered them....and I am so glad I did. They are amazing. They are like a cross between an pair of trail Nikes I had several years ago that they discontinued and the Earth Shoes I wore in the 70's. Love the WIDE sole, and roomy toe box and zero drop. It took a few minutes to adjust to the new sense of balance but the comfort, fit and cushion feels so good it was amazing. . Not a runner or hiker but will wear these everyday for whatever activity. My feet no longer ache and tingle and that's what matters to me. I did a test and wore a few pairs of my Nike Frees again but soon took them off and put on the Altras. I received these blue ones on Sunday. It is Thursday and I have just received my purple pair of Altra Olympus 2.0. I want to try the new version but at twice the money, I'll keep these and buy again.
