I had two pair of Aviva sneakers that I had bought in the past. Truthfully, I never wore them very much because I forgot I had them. The width was great so, because my feet are a bit wide in the front, I ordered two pair recently. Being people said they ran small I bought two sizes, my regular size and the next bigger size. The length of the bigger size fit well but both these pairs were narrow, nothing like the older pairs - so I sent them back and bought the longer length in a size wide. I am happy now. They are comfortable and fit so well, if they last, I will continue buying from Aviva but in size wide as these are. I recently bought some very expensive hiking shoes and the Aviva brand is not so different, at least so far. I only wore them on a very long walk, yesterday. Compared to the hiking shoes Keen and Merrel they don't seem quite as study, but they are not hiking shoes so it is hard to compare. For the money, I'd say these are probably worth it. I bought all these at the same time and will wear them all about the same length of time so it will be interesting to see how well all three brands last. Just for the record, I love the Merrel shoes and they are comfortable but needed some breaking in. The Keen shoes were the most uncomfortable but were the only waterproof ones, so since they are not unwearable I am keeping them for rainy days. All three brands ran smaller then they should have.At first I wasn't sure if I liked them. The fit didn't feel right. The more I wrote them the better they felt. Good cold weather walking shoes. It says buy normal size so I went off the size avia my daughter was wearing that I bought at a store, Its a size 6 and still big, so her feet can grow, So i was thinking a size 6 should be fine in these. She puts them on says their nice and comfy but too tight and her toe is all the way at the tip it was like sqishing her foot into a size 5. So getting a bigger size was hoping it was in a 7 but had to get a 7.5. So if too big she will just have to grow into them on the plus side she thought her feet grow she was happy about that.I love this brand!! This shoes was a little wider then expected. Just added an insole and it’s perfect. The fit is great for a relatively inexpensive shoe. Love the color; gripper sole is great.I like these shoes. I bought them because I was happy with the brand before. These have the kind of sole that I want and are the color that I want. They run warm and would be great in cool weather.Buy bigger than usual size. I bought a 10.5, a full size bigger than my normal size. Very cute shoes. They are rather wide in the toe area but I needed that! This is a great looking shoe. The green is exactly what I have been looking for. Very comfy. I'm loving them.Update: I bought the 8.5 which is my usual size. After a couple of days my toes were so tight I couldn't wear them. Could not return as I had worn them. I like them so much that I ordered another pair. I wanted the 9 but it was sold out. I got the 9.5 thinking I would hold them until the 9 was back in stock. The 9.5 fits great! Who would of thunk it? I am happy with the 9.5 and still think that this is a great looking shoe.
