I am a long time Saucony shoe owner and these did not disappoint. Love the color and as always, from my experience, fit great right out of the box. I had always purchased Rides but got the opportunity to purchase an earlier version of the Triumph ISO on sale a while back and fell in love with the fit. While my budget can't afford the new versions when they come out, I always watch for sales on later models. I haven't put these on the road yet as I am still on a previous pair of the 1st version that I bought when they were on sale to stock up for when the first pair needed to be retired. This pair will be used when the pair I am using now need to be retired. As far as going up a size, I think this would apply to first time Saucony purchasers or if you normally go up a 1/2 size on other brands of running shoes from what your regular shoe size is, then yes you would need to go up half a size with Saucony also. I am normally a size 6 1/2 in women's for all regular shoes, but for almost all brands of running shoes, I need a size 7. I purchased these shoes in a size 7 as I have with all prior Saucony shoes that I have owned over the years. Saucony shoes always fit me well in the forefoot area. I don't need wides, but the way the Saucony shoes are made, they seem to have a little wider toebox which suits my foot shape. The shoes are for a neutral runner, have ample support and are light weight. Great running shoe!Thank you Saucony!!Good, new condition. I know how this shoe is supposed to feel direct from Saucony and it was as expected. Also, it was supposed to arrive by a Sunday at 8p and I received by 1p. If you don't know the shoe and need that review: The Saucony Triumph ISO 2 is a fantastic trainer for distance runners. As one who works on speed for the marathon, it's not always my race-day shoe, but a solid friend for the long runs. It is also great for heavier runners (very tall), those with a heavy landing, prior injuries, etc. It is a high-cushion, neutral with an 8 mm drop and low-rise heel counter (which I love). It needs more arch, but my inserts do the trick. It would compete with the Brooks Glycerin (which has a more snug heel, heavier and a higher drop, and more), Asics Nimbus (which is heavier and wider with a higher drop, and more), maybe a NB 1080 (which has a higher drop, a little more snug and more), etc. $149/$150 is the MSRP for a new model and this one at half price for a just-retired model is fantastic. NOTE: I always prefer to buy this kind of product from a local retailer, but the local one went out of biz due to online shopping and the nearest one is too far. Please support local run specialty and do not "shoe-jack" them bc, say, it's not the right shade of blue or you're confusing the price of last-year's model with the run-specialty new model price. The fittings and knowledge to YOUR specific feet/gait/goals/distance cannot be replicated here.So I have sensitive feet and bad knees... finding shoes is literally impossible for me. I am a neutral supinator with patellofemoral pain and a tight IT band/hips. I was into the minimalist movement (Merrell) for the past few years but they just didn't have enough cushion for me. I have also run in Asics but the issue I have with them is that they are so warm and have no breathability. I live in the desert so that is important. But they do last a long time without falling apart.I have never owned a pair of saucony running shoes. I did extensive research which led me to the kinvara 7s. I ordered those a half size up like recommended (size 9) here on Amazon but they were too long and too narrow. They also gave me blisters and were not going to last long on the dirt path I run on. So more research, I ended up here. I took a leap based on the kinvara and ordered an 8.5 wide (8.5 is my regular shoe size). I wore these to work for 2 days to break them in. My feet were a bit sore from them but I hoped it would be worth it.Ran in them today (4 miles). Terrific cushioning, very breathable, no blisters and my knee feels pretty good. I hope they hold up well over time. Also, I love the gray color. I am not a pink/purple girl so I am so happy to have gray/blue shoes! This sneaker runs up to a full size too small, I am sure others have said that about this sneaker. I did order another size and had to return it but once I got the proper size I am now happy.I have an 11 in other Saucony's but I have to wear a 12 in this one. I am not sure about width I get the 12D width so I order a wide and I am fine with it, no problems there so I can't say if it runs narrow or not. This has been the only Saucony other than the Hurricane 15 that I can wear without having any foot pain! These may not be for everyone though as they do push your foot towards the front of the shoe which is part of what makes them feel smaller, I think they would be better for day to day wear which is how I am using them rather than running because a runner may get bruised toes especially when going downhill as your foot moves more forward in them when you go on a downward slope. Anyways these shoes have an extra layer of cushioning in the shoe that I have not seen in any other running shoe under the sock liner.I don't know why more manufacturers don't include this extra layer as it makes all the difference. The sock liner is very hard in these shoes so I recommend replacing it with something better if that is something that bothers you in this shoe.Tried a couple of different brands of running shoes before buying these. I needed good cushioning but effective support for mild to medium pronation. I cannot believe what a difference these have made to the comfort during long runs (which for me are 6 miles plus) and my recovery. My fifty something knees have been starting to trouble me in recent years, but after just two weeks of training in these I have noticed a remarkable reduction in knee soreness.I love these shoes. Fit perfectly. Did a 10 k without needing to break them in.Love these trainers. Had bought previously in a different colour and wore them to death.Nothing beats buying a new pair of runners. These have been the best pair I have owned so far. Started with Asics then got fitted for Mizuno wave rider but the cushion and support on these is unbelievable would recommend. It does not look like original at all. Returned back
