Finally! I’m in my mid-40s and run 5-6 miles nearly every day. I have a neutral gait with a narrow foot and high arches. I’d been wearing New Balance’s Propel V1 (an incredible shoe) for almost three years after stockpiling it. I was looking for my next shoe and had such a hard time finding a comparable one. NB went in an entirely different direction with their FuelCell line after the Propel V1, adding an outside wing and removing medial support from the shoes, which doesn’t work with my high arches. I was looking for something that combined the pep and return of the FuelCell sole with the comfort/stability of a wider neutral base. THIS SHOE IS IT! Don’t let online reviews deter you (looking at you, Believe in the Run); this is a superior shoe. It has just the right blend of lightweight comfort and return for consistent daily runs. Just pop in an insole to boost support if you have very high arches (no need to get fancy…$15 Dr. Scholl’s running insoles work great) and RUN!I hate running. But my SO recently got into it again after forever. We aren't able to spend a lot of time together, and lord knows I could use the cardio, so....here I am. Buying running shoes.I have to say though, these shoes made running less miserable and much more enjoyable that I find my self, dare I say, running more often? Terrifying really.I might even (just a little) enjoy it.These have been a life saver for my plantar fasciitis. I didn’t have any good shoes to workout in and shortly after wearing these to the gym my pain is subsiding! Feels like you’re walking on a cloud. Just know to size up half of what you normally wear. I’m normally a 6.5 wide, but bought a 7 wide.I'm hoping I made a good choice purchasing these sneakers. I've tried many different brands. I've tried brands that guaranteed satisfaction for being on your feet at work. No luck. So fingers crossed for these!Amazing cushion. Great flexibility. Wide size has plenty of room for pronation. I’d be a Brooks fanatic if they had:Fun colors in wide sizes,Don’t make the heel pointed. Not slightly pointed, gently pointed…not pointed at all! Running shoe heels should be flat, curve outward, or have a V shaped notch so it doesn’t rub against the Achilles and cause irritation or blisters. Found everything I wanted (with same level of cushion) in a wide Hoka Speedgoat.Great comfort for mature runner with high arches and balanced gait. Love the roomy toebox, lightweight, cushioned feel. No longer a long distance runner but these are great for hikes and runs under six miles.I have many issues with my feet including falling arches and plantar fasciitis. I like to try and walk a mile each work day and on my very first day wearing these shoes they are extremly comfortable, no pressure points, and no rubbing. Very happy with my purchase.Bought for my girlfriend and she says they are very comfortable and fit well. Nice looking workout shoe.Advertised as UK size, but product that arrived was America size.
