So there is a lot to like with the shoes, I do love the fit, they provide great support for my feet.They are very stylish and comfortable to walk around. The only downside I have noticed is that for prolonged running in excess of 1.5 miles or more they start getting really hot on the soles of my feet. I thought it could have been the treadmill so I went for a run outside on a cool crisp 50 degrees and they still seem to get quite warm so I think it could be that the shoe does not properly vent. I am not sure if this is a defect on this particular shoe but I read a few reviews indicating how warm people's feet felt. I have ran throughout winter in Korea and never really noticed it and while on vacation back in states I ran in Miami and noticed they got quite warm. So if you are in cold weather this might be a good shoe for you. I still like them and rated them a 4 because I can still workout in them doing elliptical, light running, and lifting weights.GoodThis shoe design is great. The aesthetics are elevated and the comfort is beyond compare. I tried a pair of mens size 7 shoes on ( my normal size is a wmns 8.5) in a shoe retailer due to the appeal. The comfort was what really caught my attention. I almost purchased the mens right then and there. I waited and bought these for my fiancé for his birthday and he loves them. He has the pickiest feet on the planet. I since have went in to purchase 3 more pair for the whole fam. Everyone is very happy with their shoes and very protective of them. Not sure where we will go from here when these wear out, hoping this shoe is available for a very long time.These shoes are adorable and I so wanted to be able to keep them. I've worn Kayanos for 10+ years but have struggled with the $160 price, especially when I haven't cared for the colors the past couple of years. If I'm going to spend that I need to love them and they have just had an awful appearance with lots of yellow and other obnoxious colors. So in my search for a comfortable replacement for them I have now tried the 2000s (again adorable color and styling but left permanent scars on my heels from the stiff rigid construction), the Gel Fuzelites (cute and pretty comfy but did not hold up or have adequate stability through the shoe box) and now the Quantum 180s. I have a high instep, flat feet and supinate and these were recommended by Asics and other reviews for stability. Unfortunately the reinforced area was way too tight on my right foot which is odd because my left foot is bigger, wider and has had surgery but that one felt great. These are also very stiff and rigid in the shoe box and the soles.I would love to just buy the Kayanos again after trying others to no avail, but won't until they improve the colors and styling. The couple of attractive ones they do offer are never available in anything but the smallest sizes after a few months of hitting the market. Getting frustrated Asics!!! I've ordered the Nimbus 18 and hope they are everything these were not.This shoe has great arch support and is very comfortable. I’m very active - age 48 - work out, run, play soccer 8 months of year. With that said, I have been wearing runnings shoes with great arch support to support my knees after knee surgery. Asics have been the best no matter which Gel line I purchase. I heavily recommend these sneakers. They look great too! Only $77 compared to $130 in name brand stores! What a steal! Shoe runs accurate in size and I wear a wide fit - extremely comfortable, won’t pinch ever...unless you are extra wide fit.Good and comfortable.Con: a bit to much of an arch is rotating my foot out, but maybe I need it. (Reason--I no longer have pain in the top of my foot in the mornings).Pro's: Good solid base with rubber. Not sure about the rest of you, but I hate all the shoes with the "foam bases"( possibly the reason for my pain in the foot).Good color.They fit snug across the top right where bunions are. I have one on my right foot and until I took the padding out and used my inserts it was rubbing and uncomfortable. But now the feel good. I usually wear a 8 reg but a wide might have been better. I’m not sure 8.5 would have not been to loose.These are eye catching shoes that I received many compliments from others the first day I wore them to work. I wore them over the weekend to get used to the support that my previous shoes didn't provide. I had started to suffer from heel pain from years of wearing shoes that didn't provide enough support. I bought these after a friend recommended asics. I have now wore them to work twice and I had absolutely no heel pain either time. I am not a runner. I just bought these as everyday shoes. Highly recommend
