I was skeptical if it's like this or not so I ordered a Hurley hat at the same time. I never wore visors but fell in love as soon as I put it on. I long distance hike and my head is constantly sweaty and hair can only go in a pony tail with a hat. This allows my head to breathe while blocking the sun and looks so much better. The hat is also adjustable as I read complaints on other brands that the elastic stretched and couldn't be adjusted. This one can. The only negative is the color is a bit lighter and more yellow which I wanted more dark to mask dirt better. It'll still do though and I'll be buying more designs in the future for sure.
