This is my second pair of New Balance 1080s and I love this pair even more than the first. I measured my feet very carefully and bought a 9W instead of a 9 1/2 regular like last time and the fit is perfect. I've run in them about 4 weeks now, 7 miles per day, in the park on paved and unpaved trails. They have held up like a champ. I got a stick stab into the upper mesh, which made me worry, but everything looks okay - no rips or tears. My old New Balance's uppers never wore out in the year plus that I wore them. Only the soles wore out. The insoles aren't great - I already feel like I need to replace them, but that's how most running shoes are, so not a big deal. I wish they made this with more rugged soles for going on trail runs and wet weather.
