I developed planter fasciitis in my right foot causing extreme pain in my heal. My pediatrist advised me to get a NewBalance shoe 850 or higher for maximum support. I couldn’t find a number in relation to this shoe so I opted “try before you buy” Overall, I am happy with this shoe. My heal pain is not as excruciating anymore. It hugs my heal and offers good all around support. I feel like it is helping my foot heal. In tennis shoes, I wear a 7.5 so, that is the size I ordered. It fits with a little wiggle room in the length. I was worried about the height of the ankle/Achilles collar rubbing on the back of my ankle. It sits back and does not touch or bother it. Hopefully, I can get back to my walking regimen soon. ??♀️
